Drew McKay

Drew McKay is a young singer/songwriter hailing from Surrey, BC. While starting his musical career as a drummer, he soon realized his need for another creative outlet, and picked up a guitar. He focused on writing original material and honing his playing. Many projects began to overshadow his personal writing, and for the time being, these songs were forgotten.



In a few years, with the members of his band pursuing different directions, Drew found an opportunity to step out on his own. In a short period of time, a handful of songs were produced, once again enabling him the chance to play in a live setting. After the success of his first few performances, it became apparent that there was an audience for his music. It sparked the beginning of a new chapter in his musical endeavors.



Presently, Drew is working on his debut album entitled, "Brother, I fell down.". With his modern blend of Folk, Blues, and unique rhythms, Drew's melodic harmonies and depth of lyrics propel listeners to new and different heights. Whether it be his frenetic finger-picking, or heart-felt messages conveyed lyrically, keep a watchful eye as this young artist's popularity grows.
