Dream Weaver

Kurt Brine is the 23 year old producer/DJ behind the "Dream Weaver" project with his studio based on the north coast of NSW, Australia.He started attending outdoor psychedelic gatherings back in he late 90's, then quickly began to take an interest in the music and started DJing around the local area in 2000.

In 2001 he took on a working position at a local pro-audio company and since then has been soaking up their 30 years experience in audio the industry, helping train him to a more professional approach.

Starting to look into production in 03-04 he began to experiment making music with a group of friends sharing ideas, through this formed the project "Polka" between Dream Weaver, Spliffun and Strange Planet creating quite a stir in their local area with a funky original morning dancefloor sound. However clashes of vision for future progression, had the trio only one year later decided to go their separate ways.

It was after this in 2005 that kurt decided to concentrate on his own sound and forged his "Dream Weaver" solo project in July 2005, with the help and advice of another local producer a much valued friend and production mentor Josh Dobbie, Kurt decided to switch to a Macintosh and Logic Pro system.

Dream Weavers music can be best described as a blend of warm flowing basslines, intelligent structure, well balanced stereo-field with powerful morning melodies.

Now over the years having DJ'd and also performed his music live at many of the NSW outdoor festivals and countless parties in between including:- SuperFreak (FreakReation) / EXODUS / EarthFreq / EarthDance - Byron Bay / Nimbin MardiGrass - Dance For Drug Law Reform / Splendour In The Grass / SEVEN / R.E.G.E.N - Regrowth (Sydney) / Liquid Voyage - Boat Party (Sydney Harbour) / Full Moon Showdown / Mystic Mayhem / Summer Solstice / Winter Solstice.

And has played support to internationals including:- GMS / X-Noize / Time Lock / Triptych / Sine Wave / Loud / U-Reckon / Zirkin /Phony Orphants / Krumelur /Antix. to name a few.

Kurt is now looking to expand his horizons further abroad, his main goal is to achieve success traveling around the globe playing his music at psychedelic festivals filling dance-floors with smiling faces
