Ok. Nobody cool really uses myspace anymore but its a pretty convenient place to stash a few tracks and videos for those who are interested.



I cant be arsed with the whole "write a pro sounding bio in the third person" routine - i figured id just write a little something about myself.



Born Uk. Raised Brisbane. Reside in Melbourne Australia.

Ive been rapping for a while now - took the name Dragonfly in 1999

when the world was supposed to end.



Over the last few years i've done a shitload of open mic performances, live shows (both solo and with Julez) battles and even dabbled in a bit of film and theatre. Nowadays my performance tends to mix all of that stuff together but its essentially slightly left of centre rap music.



I draw inspiration from a mixed bag of things - ive always had an entrepreneurial approach to life and had a strong interest in things like the occult, eastern philosphy and spirituality - lyrically i like people (poets, rappers, comedians etc) who use fresh language and push the boundaries of the medium. i would like to think of myself as one of these without taking myself too seriously.



ive made and sold a few short cds over the years but nothing that im that proud of - although i have enjoyed the process.

im presently working on my first album entitled

"breath of a salesman" - it will be out in June 2011.
