It started in 1996, William Penn High School in North Philly. Where he met up with his soon to be rap partner Lefty 2 Gunz (aka) Draft Pick. With his influence, DoughBoy found himself dabbling with raps here and there pretty much just playing around with it. It wasnt until he brought it home to his little cousin Dundidid that he took it serious. So Dough and D.P started rapping together as a group on a more serious note.



During the beginning of his rap career his child hood friend Mac $ hooked them up with two rappers from his high school named D&P (Dre and Pipe). Battling each other at first to decide who had skills and who didnt. They decided that they might as well just come together as a group. And from that point on they were called N.B.C (Niggaz Bout Cash). The members consisted of: DoughBoy, Draft Pick, 4 Pound Beast, J-Murder, and Krooz. While recording there first cd Up and Coming they met up with Break Bread Management. Where DoughBoy and Draft Pick were signed to management deals. Needless to say it didnt work out. So they rejoined their group and changed there names to Swat Team.



Two years went past with him leading his team (Swat Team) to open mics, features on mixtapes, trips to different cities etc. The Second mixtape (Swat Team Mixtape) sold over 1,000 copies. That led him to a show in south philly were he met up with Renz Steel. (A break bread management artist). Theyve been doing work together since then. A year later he changed the name to his group once again to C.E.Oz (Chrome Eagle Operators). They released there second mixtape titled A New Day. Moved about 2,000 copies sealing there spot in phillys hip hop scene.



Rejoining Break Bread Management, he recorded tracks over Faust beats and Lah beats and got those songs shopped to labels. He got a good response from labels such as Universal, Atlantic, Rocafella, Electra records and Murder Inc. Shortly after, the Break Bread Movement dissolved. And DoughBoy and Renz Steel started their own movement by pushing mixtapes and doing promo in clubs, bars etc. Renz Steel then decided to start his own company called Lyfe Stylz Productions and brought DoughBoy in as a partner . DoughBoy automatically became an artist under this production company and plans to drop his album E.R.A.D (everything revolves around dough) in 2006. Adding new members to the C.E.Oz, Renz Steel, Dundidid, and Xyphn, it plans to be a productive year. So pretty much, if you and down, get from round.DoughBoy!!
