Doubting Thomas

Doubting Thomas were formed in January 2006 as a three piece featuring Patrick Flatley on drums, Sam Wright on Bass and Chris Blockeel on Guitar and Lead Vocal.

After writing a set's worth of songs they decided the sound lacked something, a second guitar, which came in the form of Fred Blurton, which improved the sound, as well as the writing of songs.

Their sound is one of hard-hitting high energy and although they have that 1976 punk rock sound they also have a New Wave element to their sound. Though not all the songs are raging fast the energy comes out is spades and it is no wonder that some of their gigs end in total chaos, sometimes it's bad but 90% of the time it's good.

They have played some quite prestigious shows and some that are not so glamorous. However, the venue does not matter as they always bring their high-octane show to wherever it is they play making every show an event one does not want to miss.
