The 007s



A fantastic 6-piece band that plays the music of John Barry and the title tunes of all the Bond films. The 007s is more than a tribute band. It plays the music with style and passion to create the unique Bond sound. It is the John Barry orchestra compressed into a cutting edge band that will send shivers down your spine when you relive your favourite Bond moments.



The 007s consists of a tight rhythm section, harmonic horn vibes and the spectacular voice of Double K that brings the music to life. From classic tunes like "Goldfinger" to Paul McCartney's "Live and Let Die",

from the fluid "For Your Eyes Only" to Sheryl Crow's "Tomorrow Never Dies", the 007s will take you through four decades of Bond music.



Besides the title songs of every movie the band also plays signature instrumental pieces such as "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", "Necros Attacks", "Space March" and the infamous "Main James Bond Theme" by Monty Norman.



The 007s can be booked for concerts, festivals, corporate events, private parties and public gigs. In all cases the audience will be mesmerised by the tunes and will enjoy the ride.

THE 007s FORMATION HISTORY



2007: Double D and Double K met up at a Jazz Jam - just a month or so after Double K found Double T & Double Z via gumtree. Double K then found Double M via Double Z via music school contacts. Double D and Double K and Double Z then met/jammed with Double R at a live jazz jam hosted by Double Z, and recruited Double R shortly thereafter. Debut/world premiere occurred 21 December 2007 to a happy, full and boisterous crowd which included the owner of the 007s next gig venue.



2008: Numerous gigs including in Leicester Square, Southbank, Baker Street areas as well as two resounding encore-laden gigs at Viva Viva in Crouch End.



2009: Thanks to the latter two gigs, the 007s have been asked to play at the huge & gorgeous gastro pub, The Pumphouse Dining Bar at 1 New River Avenue N8 for 2 more sets of all the classic James Bond 007 Music!



Our favourite 2009 gigs to date: Ronnie Scott's Bar 14 June 2009 and Leicester Square Pop Stage for Ku Bar on 4 July 2009 for London Pride!
