The band was formed in august 2005 by three friends (Vova joined Andrew and Sem) and played their fist show in a month in the city of Hust. During 2006 Doping plays shows in various Ukrainian cities and their first non-ukrainian gig in Slovakia, records demo and gets Petya as second guitarist, but few months later he leaves the band and the line-up never changes again. In 2007 Doping plays in Slovakia and Hungary and does few Ukrainian mini-tours, they records their debut album and tour Ukraine with 10-20 Bez Vyhodnyh. The sound of the band is a mix of fast, melodic punk, hardcore and rock. The lyrics is mostly social, life inspired, sometimes sarcastic and humorous.
2008 starts with another Slovak-Hungarian mini-tour and summer is notable for the 2 weeks Russian-Ukrainian tour with German friends Total Konfus. Doping took part in the international punk festival South Punk Fest in 2008 and 2009. The second full-length of Doping named "Wrong Perfection" was out in may 2009. The band presented this album touring in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine. June 2010 – Russian-Ukrainian tour with new songs. This year they are gonna start recording a new album and play more shows. The songs of the band featured in over 10 ukrainian and foreign compilations. Doping shared stage with such bands as Total Konfus, The Symbioz, Low Value, Straightaway, Jet Market, Bedtime For Charlie, The 4 Sivits, Castrum, The Idoru, Maypole, P.O. Box, Distemper, Trick Shots, The Detectors, Alert, Men Killing Men, In Defence, SS20, Rise Of Cadia, Done With, Anyway!, The Riot Gang, Best Enemy, Time To Live, Stinx etc.
