This five-piece Danish alternative indie rock group released their debut album 'Sing the boy electric' on the danish indie label Quartermain Records in October 2006. It was backed up by several excellent reviews in the danish media.



Doí plays atmospheric and down toned alternative music inspired by the Nordic, thoughtful universe. With a blend of Scandinavian and American noise rock effects and shoegazer landscapes Doí captivates musically.



Apart from having played several concerts abroad and in Denmark, Doí has also composed music for TV-, fashion- and film projects. The band has appeared in NY Magazine "Nylon", and featured in the British "Another Magazine" alongside the Raveonettes, Von Bondies, the Beatings and the Kills.
The debut album was released in Denmark, Germany and Benelux and has been very well received in the media and by the public.
