Doggtown

Originating from the west coast of Finland, and founded in 2003, Doggtown released their first full-length album 'November Road' (Bluelight Records) in 2005. Despite the album's critical acclaim, the band felt they needed to explore outside the tried and tested paths. The second album 'RE:CONSTRUCTION' (Samsara Records) was a huge step towards more aggressive and modern, yet soulful direction.
2010 sees the band reaching out even further. The new Radio Therapy EP has three of Doggtown's key tracks remixed and remastered - streamlined and fresh sounding. This is the stuff that will eventually lead to Doggtown III.
In Doggtown's music, diverse influences such as Rage Against The Machine, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Muse, Nirvana, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Jimi Hendrix and The Who can be heard living in a perfect harmony.
Much of the tight sound of the band can be attributed to its members' experience, and of course to the band chemistry, unappologetic attitude, seeding from the long-lasting co-operation between them. What you hear is a truly unique blend of hard hitting alternative rock and soulful performances from an ambitious band that has found their own voice.
