For over 13 years, Send The Dawn Promotions (STD Promos) has been on top of the Northwest Indiana music scene. Founded in 1997 by Edward Roseberry (a well-known local music native), the independent promotional company started to gain popularity through catchy show gimmicks, diverse local lineups and solid backing through supporters and advertisement.
Soon STD Promos became the savior to the local scene in Northwest Indiana. Many venues still to this day continue to get shut down and Ed has gone to great lengths not only to find more halls and venues to throw shows, but has also stuck his neck out to hold onto such places as the well known Lake Station Eagles Club, Westport Community Center, Java Jims Music Theatre as well as countless others descending all the way from Chicagoland throughout Northwest Indiana. STD Promos is and always will be a promotional statue that truly caters to DIY touring and local acts, for the right reasons.
Annual events such as The Anti-Variety Show, Night Of The Forgotten and The Outdoor Pitfest have gained popularity in the music scene through the years. Each one boasts a different time of year and atmosphere for the bands and has stayed steady, draw-wise, throughout each of their existence.
