Darnell & The Praise Team consists of a group of people from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. They are a praise and worship group unlike any other, bringing together the sounds of Rock, Soul, Reggae, Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, etc. DnPT believes that worship cannot be classified as a specific sound, but is a music that defines a culture. a God Culture. The group is led by singer/songwriter and Tye Tribbett guitarist Darnell Miller, a very gifted and anointed worship leader. Darnell's talent has often been compared to Musiq, Fred Hammond and Lenny Kravitz. Throughout his career, Darnell has been fortunate enough to perform and share the stage with a wide range of artists, including: Mary Mary, Ron Kenoly, Bill and Renee Morris, Israel and New Breed, Mario Winans, Anointed, Jonathan DuBose Jr., John P. Kee, Alvin Slaughter and Jason Nelson. He has appeared on the Stellar awards and, most recently, on TBN playing for Tye Tribbett and GA. The Praise Team came into existence in August of 2004 and since then, they have opened up for Tye & GA and a host of other artists. DnPT are preparing to record their first EP entitled "The Worship Sessions," a collection of hot worship songs you must experience for yourself! In addition to the EP, Praise Team members Farrah & Tiffany, better known as Sister, are working on their own project as well. DnPT has a passion to effect peoples' lives with the manifest presence of God and to let their lights shine through the very powerful tool of music -- because they've learned that it's not what you say, it's what you display that's most important.
