His beats have Miami dancing late into the night and his return to the 305-area-code will certainly be impacting the music scene in a big way. His name is David Turk and he is Both a DJ and producer. His eclectic taste in music can be understood best through his open format mixes. He explores a variety of sounds and plays with some of the best equipment available. Turk Incorporates a variety of music into one of his sets-- easily elevating the mood of a crowd with its fun, unexpected flow. After choosing to step off the beach for a few years and pursue higher education, David is back in South Florida. Juggling his studies and a dream he can date back to age ten, time away from all the action down here allowed him to hone his skills as a DJ. At FSU David Turk became better known as DJ Turk and to simply suggest that he has a passion for music and a talent for the turntables would be an understatement. It didn’t take long for the people of Miami to begin to recognize this emerging musical mind of DJ Turk and the fresh sounds produced by him. Venues all over the beach and then some have given the twenty-two year old DJ a shot at winning over their crowd. Appreciation and a rising level of respect for DJ Turk can be seen vibrantly alive on the dance floors he spins for. Mansion, SET, and Dolce can be listed among others on his growing resume.
