I got into DJing at the age of 12 when i started secondary school. I was into Jungle those days, the first record i bought was Shy FX - Funkindemup & was well pissed off when i got it yard cos it sounded well slow on my hi fi turntable lol. I bought decks when i was 13 yrs old, some shitty Soundlab DLP3's but hey u gotta start sumwhere!! Did a few late nite graveyard shift sets on the local pirate station GCR with Glamour & D-Hart, used to b murky still, used to go on til all hours, thats when jungle was the lick back in 97!!! I only got into garage when i was about 15 cos one of my mates (Nick-e) was mcin to garage and needed a dj to do sets with, tru say he'd heard me beatin up the jungle he knew I cud do wat he wanted lol. Me n him started linkin up quite regular n started givin tapes to everyone we knew which ended up with us gettin work in many places such as Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Manchester n Derby which is where we linked up with Shady (Shade One) n started a ting called MNG (Mr.Nice Guys). We then started to take it fully serious n started doin sets n sendin em to all kinda promotors up n down the country which then got us alot of work. I played at Hysteria in Leicester at the age of 16 a few times, mainly doin the warm ups sets but sometimes certain djs didnt turn up so i'd get to do the main sets which got on nuff of their tape packs alongside Bassman,Docta n many more so man was gettin recognised allover the UK. Later i got to play at the Hysteria's in Bristol which got me playin alongside names like Timmi Magic, Jason Kaye & Ray Hurley to name a few. We carried on doin the MNG thing for about 2 or 3 yrs then Nick-E moved to london so we linked up with Lombardo & Squeeze n formed the New Breed Crew at the start of 2000, I'd say from there is where we fully started to move, started doin bare raves allover the UK n had a very big name in our home town, had a radio show in Derby on Genesis FM every sunday 6 til 8pm which was fully murky, we even went to Amsterdam a number of times, I was there a couple times on my own,played infront over 1500 people alongside MC Viper n we fucked it up differently!!! New Breed went on til about end of 2001 when Shades thought we shud b on bigger things than what we was doin so we linked up with Pepper, Ryda, Macka, Vader, Brady & GT then started a ting called 'Midlandz Mafia' which is still goin strong today!!! Later down the line we picked up other members RD, MNT & LC and since then we have done many various mix cds which have sold shit loads. Been on 1xtra many times on Cameo's Pirate Sessions n smashed it every time, was on DJ Q's UKG Mixshow last time with MNT & we fully showered it.big up all the 1xtra crew!!!



Ave been djin since i was 13 (16 in clubs tho) so man know how to deal with the matter, I also play 4x4, RnB, Hip Hop, Bashment and Funky House so u know man is fully versatile!!! Am heavily on the 4x4 rite now aswellI work in a record shop aswell called 2Funky which is the midlands leading urban music store,been there for a year now, biggin up all the 2Funky crew.Brapp!! Recently got onto the atlantic records street team so look out for me with a launch party in your area very soon with the rest of the street team members. Watch this space cos its too big to ignore!!!!!
