Szeifert (DJ/Producer/A&R)

He was born in 1975. He first came into contact with music at primary school and later studied it actively for 7 years. After graduating from grammar school he obtained a teacher’s degree.

He has been performing in music clubs since the age of 15. From the beginning of his career he has worked in the largest music clubs in Siófok where as a young DJ, he could experience the great variety of Hungarian and international audience. Several trends have marked his music, currently his style is a kind of club music affected by trance with clear vocals and chic sounding. Within this genre his sets are variegated. He is among the few artists who, on outstanding occasions, are keen on playing 8-hour sets, filling out the whole evening.

Szeifert is the only Hungarian DJ who has got continuous releases of mix albums since 2001 presenting the top tracks of the greatest international representatives of the genre. Flört Inside 1-2, Travelling to Happiness mix releases and the Pure Trance series whose latest part was released in June 2007 as the artist’s 7th album, are all connected to Szeifert’s name.

Fifteen of his own composition tracks have been presented worldwide while he also acts as an author and producer in the work of various artists. Szeifert has completed more than ten video clips, all of them frequently played by music channels. Szeifert is A&R manager at Karmatronic Records, seated in the USA, Italy and Hungary.

Every week his DJ mixes are aired in a number of radio stations in Hungary, Europe and North and South America.

One of his most noteworthy appearances was the Sziget Festival in 2004, he was the only Hungarian DJ to appear on Tiesto’s concert in November 2005 in the Budapest Papp László Sports Stadium attended by more than 12.000 fans, he debuted in Mayday Budapest 2006 and appeared in the Vienna City Hall large stage mega party at the 10th Anniversary of the Paradise City. During the last few years Szeifert has played with artists like Tiesto, BT, ATB, Tomcraft, Mark Spoon, Agneli & Nelson, Sister Bliss, Anthony Pappa, Nick Warren, Lucien Foort, Blank & Johns, Talla, Observer, Jo Mills, Brian Cross, Paul Hazendonk, Mo-Shic…
