German // In der Stereofunk-Welt geht es sehr bunt zu: Gegensätze sorgen bekanntlich für Farbe. Einerseits introvertierter Musikliebhaber, andererseits gefeierter Produzent und DJ. Auf seiner Mischpalette findet man neben Electro-, House- und Breakbeateinflüssen auch eine Kräftige Portion „Funky 80s“. Mit dem hoch gelobten Debütalbum „Fools Planet“ lieferte der Dresdner den endgültigen Beweis ab: Er hat den Funk gepachtet! Die Clubhymne „Captain Funk“, der Vorbote zum Longplayer, erschien Anfang 2009 auf Moonbootique Records. Neben enorm positiven Feedbacks aus der ganzen Welt adelte das Musikmagazin Raveline den Track zur „Heavy Rotation“. Neben der Arbeit als Produzent und DJ kennt man Stereofunk auch als Kopf vom Label Klang Gymnastik Records. Katalognummer 20 steht kurz bevor und mit einem digitalen Sublabel hat man auch hier die Zeichen der Zeit erkannt, damit es in Zukunft farbenfroh weiter geht.
English // In the colorful world of Stereofunk there's a lot going on: As we all know opposites create color. On the one hand introverted musiclover, on the other hand an acclaimed producer and DJ. Next to electronic, house and breakbeat influences, a big part of "funky 80s" can also be found on his mixing slab.
With his highly praised debutalbum "Fools Planet" the DJ from Dresden has definitely proved: he's got the funk on his side! The club anthem " Captain Funk", forerunner of the LP, was released in April 2009 with Moonbootique Record.
Apart from very positive acknowledgement from around the world, themusic magazine Raveline raised the track to "Heavy Rotation". Besides working as a producer and DJ, Stereofunk is also known as the head of the label Klang Gymnastik Records.
