Surfing on Sinewaves.SINEWAVE is Australian electronic music producer Spencer Scott.??For over 12 years he has been part of the thriving electronic music scene both in Australia and the UK. With a history as a guitar and keyboard player his real passion for electronic music was ignited in Australia in 1994 when he hosted his radio show 'Liquid Sky Dreaming' for three years. It featured some of the most cutting edge Electro, Industrial and Techno music of the time and was the major influence on what the SINEWAVE project has transformed into today.

Fast forward to 99 and Spencer arrived in the UK and was exposed to the underground psychedelic trance scene in London and soon became hooked on the energy of the parties. He started Djing in 2001 and became a partner with Alchemy Records and started experimenting with production and released a track called Ultima as the Flaming Hoons with Rinkadink in 2002 which came out in 2002. In 2003 he released a worldwide hit track as DJ Spencer with producer Rinkadink called Spektral Monkey which took the trance scene by storm. Following on from the success of the release he put together a compilation in 2004 on Alchemy Records called Wild Life – Jungle Juice.Spencer started his own psy-trance project SINEWAVE later that year in 2005 and soon became well known for his sense of melody and grooves for the morning dance floors. In the past 4 years he has toured all over the world and impressed dance floors with his powerful uplifting tracks ,DJing and playing live in the UK and other exotic locations including Brazil, Australia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Lithuania, Sweden, Czech Republic, Denmark and India.

He has performed alongside Infected Mushroom, Astrix and Xerox & Illumination at the legendary Brixton Academy in London. SINEWAVE performed all over the UK in the summer of 2007 for the Echo, Offworld, 070707, Newfoundland, Eastern Haze and Waveform festivals, and was the only international trance artist to perform live at the world renowned Burning Man Festival in the US in 2007. He finished the year in style at the Universo Paralello Festival in Bahia, Brasil for New Years Eve 2007. The infamous Rainbow Serpent festival in Australia was next in January 2008 which was a homecoming for this talented producer back on home soil and playing the music inspired by the dusty dance floors.

Featured in DJMag’s upcoming rising talents at the end of 2008, Spencer built his own project studio in preparation for his debut album and continued playing all over the globe. Recently signed to Mutagen Records in 2009, an upcoming UK based psychedelic trance label headed by DJ Mif, SINEWAVE is set to release a 4 track digital EP release 'Elemental' with 24/7 Records in July 2009 and will follow with his debut album on Mutagen at the end of the year.
