DJ Sergi Ribas

Sergi Ribas started to play in the early 90s joining one
of the first promoters on the island, they were really
successful organizing Sunday beach parties in many
seaside clubs like Blue Marlin, La Escollera or Sa Trincha.
Therefore, with the backing of these remarkable parties,
clubs like Privilege and Amnesia gave him a weekly
residency for three years. In 1998 he was a resident DJ at
Pacha Ibiza, together with Zenith organization and next
year resident in Pacha, Main Room for three more years.
Since 2002 until nowadays he is resident DJ at Km5 and
he is sometimes playing in other clubs like Space (Ibiza),
Pacha (Ibiza),Blue Marlin (Cala Jundal), Café Guarana,El
Grial, La Diosa, Café Mambo, El Divino, Hotel Pacha,,,,
among others where he has played with top dj's as
Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, Bob Sinclar, Tom Novy,
Behrouz. He has been in many different clubs all around
Europe as a guest DJ
He also plays at diferent Ibiz a radio stations like Ibiza
Global Radio where he has a weekly radio show

Cadena 100,,
Sergi Ribas, ibizencan DJ and producer is known as
Deep Collective too. He has collaborate with international
record labels like Irma Records (Italy), News
(Belgium), Club Star (Germany) , Welt Recordings
(Denmark), Seamless (UK), Pschent (France) Pirates
Federation (France), Timewarp Music (Greece), Cafe del
Mar (Spain), Extremly House Music (Spain).
Deep Collective productions reached high positions on
Beatport Deep House Top100 like num 11th with "The
4th wok" , 16th "Virtual Simulations" and 19th "Deepest
Garden" etc.
In 2008 he mixed and compiled the double KM5 CD vol 8,
which was " The best CD of the Summer 2008" by Cool
Magazine. After that came KM5 CD vol 9 and KM5 CD vol
10, which was num.1 sales.
In 2008, 2009 he is nominated to the
(Spanish dance awards) as best dj of a lounge club and
best national dj. On 2010 he is nominated for best dj set in
a lounge/beach club and best national dj, by the well
known Deejay dance magazine.
His music style is extended over Tech-House, Deep-Tech,
House and Electro-Lounge. Fresh and elegant sounds that
bring liveliness and rhythm to an electronic deep
mainstream, which also captivates the listener from the
beginning.



Sergi Ribas, comenzó a trabajar como disck jockey a
principios de los años 90. Formando parte a su vez, de uno de
los primeros promotores de la isla , organizando las primeras
Beach Parties de Ibiza, en lugares como Blue Marlin (Cala
Jundal), La Escollera (Playa Es Cavallet), Sa Trinxa (Playa de las
Salinas),etc.
Débido al éxito de sus eventos como promotor, clubs como
Privilege y Amnesia les ofrecieron una residencia durante tres
años.
En 1998,obtuvo la residencia semanal junto con la promotora
Zenith en Pacha Ibiza. Al año siguiente ya era dj residente de
Pacha Ibiza. Esta residencia duró tres años.
Desde el año 2002 y hasta la actalidad es dj residente de Km5, y
eventualmente actua en clubs y discotecas como Space (Ibiza),
Pacha (Ibiza), Blue Marlin (Cala Jundal), Grial (Ibiza),etc.,
compartiendo cabina con Top Dj's como Laurent Garnier, Josh
Wink, Bob Sinclar, Behrouz, Tom Novy, Pipi etc.
Fuera de la isla ha actuado en prestigiosos clubs y discotecas de
Europa como Escape Theatre (Amsterdam-Holanda), Cafe
d'Anvers (Amberes-Bélgica), The Loft (Lausanne-Suiza),
Capitulo V (Algarbe-Portugal), Folie's Pigalle (Paris-Francia),
Hotel Pacha entre otros.
Desde el 2004 es colaborador de Ibiza Global Radio, con dos
dj sets semanales en horas de máxima audiencia.Ya en 2009,
tiene su propio radio show. todos los miércoles de 12.00 a
13.00. colaborando también en diferentes horas con otros
programas de la emisora. También colabora con diferentes
emisoras de radio como Ibiza Sonica, IB3 radio y cadena 100.
En cuanto a producciones, en 2004, se asocia con Santi Tur
(Atfunk) ,y crean Deep Collective. Una formación orientada a
la producción de deep house y deep lounge. Sus producciones
lograron alcanzar en Beatport puestos muy altos, en Deep
House Top 100 como el 11º con "The 4th wok" ,o 16º "Virtual
Simulations" y 19º con "Deepest Garden" etc. .
Han colaborado con sellos internacionales como Irma Records
(Italia), News (Bélgica), Club Star (Alemania) , Welt Recordings
(Dinamarca),Seamless (Inglaterra), Pschent (Francia), Pirates
Federation (Francia), Timewarp Music (Grecia), Cafe del Mar
(España), Extremly House Music (España)
En 2008 crea su primera recopilación del doble CD KM5 vol 8,
que fué reconocido como mejor CD del verano 2008 por la
revista Cool Magazine, obteniendo elevadas ventas, siguieron
a ésta en 2009 el CD KM5 Vol 9, y en 2010 el CD km5 vol 10,
logrando el Nº1 en ventas en su categoría
Ha sido nominado por la revista dance de tirada nacional
Deejay Magazine, a los Deejaymags 2008, 2009 y 2010 como
mejor dj Club Lounge y como mejor dj nacional
Su estilo musical oscila entre diferentes estilos como
Tech-House, Deep-Tech, House y Electro-Lounge.
Sonido fresco y elegante que aporta vida y ritmo a la corriente
Electronic Deep, capturando la atención del público desde el
primer momento.
