Salex, aka Stephanie Alexis is an up and coming DJ/Producer from San Francisco, CA. She is classically and jazz trained for 20 years on a number of string instruments, and has been making electronic music for over 10 years. Her style features frantic rhythms, eerie melodies, and insanely layered beats. She takes a lot of influence from the jazz greats and hip hop. Her true love (almost obsession) for Jungle and Drum'n'Bass, has really lead her to becoming a great DJ. Her DJ'ing is a bit techy, a bit flashy, slightly jazzy smoothed out at times, with that classic dubby ragga soundMostly she just gets down and dirty with the bass. A technical dj, with impeccable programming, her sets will take you on a journey of emotion and dance.This chica has been traveling all over the country sharing her unique style.
