DJ Penfold

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Mark Smith - AKA DJ Penfold has over 15 years DJ experience, working alongside some of the biggest names in Hip Hop. ?



With links to well known producers and emerging artists from around the world, Mark has access to exclusives which he showcases on 95bFM's ‘Trueschool Hip Hop Show’ – the longest running Hip Hop radio show in New Zealand.



Previously Mark was also co-host on Alt TV's top rating show ‘Disruptiv TV’. Through his television profile Mark gained a nationwide following within the hip hop scene and went on to become DJ for PNC.



As tour DJ for Dirty Records recording artist PNC, Mark toured Australia and of worked alongside many of his favorite act's at major events like the Big Day Out and Samoa Tsunami Benefit at Vector Arena.?



?Marks style is varied, he has a keen ear for underground hip hop as well as an eye on the charts. His set's are tailored to suit gig and venue and could have him playing any form of electronica from Electro to RnB.



As a qualified Audio Engineer mark continues to work on various exciting production projects, while maintaining a focus on DJing.
