Miss Flora

Flora was born in 1980 in Paris, France. She moves to Strasbourg (east of France) for her studies at the age of 18 and starts spinning records two years after, influenced by her taste for every electronic music.At first she spins house and techno, and starts her first gigs in France, Germany and Belgium where she wins a dj contest in 2003 which allows her to get some gigs in that country with artists such as Marco Bailey, Redhead, Tonio and so on.The same year, she sets up her own Djanes collective "Pussy Power" with three other dj girls from France, Switzerland and Germany .
In 2005 she Is selected for the german springboard "Audioculture" in Freiburg, thanks to this she starts playing in many various clubs from south of Germany . at the same time her sound refines itself and moves from Electro techno to electro house and minimal tekhouse. 2005 also sees her first releases come out with the "Sexy Dj ep" in collaboration with Parisian dj Frederic de Carvalho which meets a certain success and gets remixed by Kiko and Huggotron aka John Dahlbäck.
In 2007 after the release of the track "I Slide" with this Swedish young rising star on his own label Pickadoll, she plays in various clubs, events and parades like Gay Pride in France or Lake Parade in Switzerland. She joins the booking agency Electroladies Booking (Paris, FR) and gets a residency in 2008 in Liquid Club & Z Club thanks to her 'Elektro Queens' party where she invites djanes from all over Europe.
In 2010 Miss Flora is voted in the 20 best female djs worldwide on the website www.djette.com ; also interested in Photography you can find her own party pictures on her different websites.
Today Flora's sound is the reflection of her soul, a perfect dose of deep and dark tekhouse moved to straight minimal techno. she's a member since 2011 of the "Sinnestäuschung" agency that organises various succesful electronic events in South Germany.
