A new fresh mixtape, unexpected courtesy of my man DJ 'MBATO'.
'Mbatò, aside being a long time true and reliable friend of mine, a crazy guy,
a gifted beatmaker and a skilled deejay, a Strettoblaster's crew member,
a deep rooted musician, is much more than that: he is simply funky.
He reps Rizziconi, a small town near Reggio Calabria:
started playing records off his father's collection back in the early 90's,
scratching and cutting breaks in his room, way before meeting me or some of our old dudes,
and creating Stranimali Social Club.
The very first time I met him was around 1995, on stage at a local jam.
He was cutting at this gig in a such furious way, to say the best, and, you know what?
He was doing that with a broken arm! I was like "YO, C'MON, SON!" :O
Since I saw him and his crazy style, I knew it: we were made to become friends.
In the last 14 some years we shared spots, lights, records, blunts and more.
