Biography Marco G’s name over the last few years has become synonymous with quality house production and remixes, requests has been flooding from all over the world for his skills. His collaborations with Amin Golestan has landed him on some of the best labels in the world. His remix of Dave Seaman’s Gobbledybook was so successful that it paved the way for two new original releases on Audio Therapy in 2009. While his other projects have been landing roles on some of the most notorious labels in the business such as Ultra, Pacha, Little Mountain, Juicy Music, Plasmapool, EyezCream Recordings and Spinnin’. In 2010, Marco G takes it to the next level with his album project which is set to produce a precedent amount of hit singles in one go! Flashback to 2007, Marco G was honored a "GÉMEAUX" prize from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television for the musical theme of the Tv series "Minuit, Le Soir". Marco G shared this prize with his partners Mathieu Desaulniers, Dj Kal & Nicolas Maranda. But his skills don’t just stop there, Marco G’s DJ reputation in Quebec & Montreal precedes him as one of the finest house DJs that came out of Canada. His involvement and dedication to the scene enabled him to play with some of the finest DJs on some of the best nights on the east coast from Bal En Blanc, Quebec 400 Year’s Anniversary to Aria Nightclub. While his “Privilege” residency at Quebec’s biggest club Dagobert and Montreal’s Circus Nightclub attract the likes of Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grand, David Guetta, Dirty South, Steve Angello, Sebastien Ingrosso and even Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Moby, Bran Van 3000 and Tiesto. His support doesn’t just stop there. Marco G updates his massive audience every week on Quebec’s only electronic radio program Caissedeson.com and his podcast “The G-Cast” with his DJ mix of Top10 chart featuring some of the latest releases of the moment. His hard work and long experience enabled him to support producers around the world by launching his own label titled “No Requests Music” with acclaimed artists such as Muzikjunki, Veerus & Maxie Devine, Etienne Ozborne, Dean Newton, Gabriel Vezolla, Blaktron, Chris Count and more. The label’s launch received a lot of support and was featured on compilations like Ministry Of Sound’s “Punx Up The Volume” by Moguai. Marco G belongs also to a group of DJs sponsored by Native Instrument’s Traktor, the leading technology in future DJ-ing. Marco uses Traktor Scratch Pro to push the boundaries of DJ capabilities and improve the DJ experience by providing feedback to Native Instruments in order to improve the technology. Marco G’s name is bound to be among the rising stars of today, his constant nominations on Beatport’s top chart with every release is a mere proof that his work is respected and supported by DJs and fans all around the world.
