Myspace Contact Tables, hosting by Imgdump.net Lodown's DJ career started in 1993. Originally influenced by Hip Hop, he was introduced to Drum'n'Bass by his sister and began to mingle the two styles in his sets. Back then, noone suspected the apprentice at the Berlin college of hotel management to become one of the most diverse DJs in Germany. Between 1996 and 2000, he has shown his unique talents at numerous occupations. Besides spinning as a DJ, he's been co-moderator of a weekly radio show on Kiss FM, and had his own rap formation named "Angol Tracks". In 2001, a pathbreaking experience marked the decisive turning point in his career: The "Sonne, Mond & Sterne" festival has been an unforgettable encounter with Techno music, and Jeff Mills' set inspired Lodown to fusion Hip Hop, Drum'n'Bass, and Techno in his music. It didn't take long for Woody's Fumakilla label's "Formation Autotune" to notice Lodown's potential. He's been accepted as a member shortly after, and he stayed until late 2003, when he decided to focus on his solo activities. Recently, with "The One" he released his first 12" on Moonbootique Records, demonstrating he's not just a gifted DJ but also a talented producer and singer. It's not surprising that artist collegues like Incage and Kiko used his singing skills on his tracks. At the moment, Lodown is sitting in his studio and working on his first solo album. We're excited. His extraordinary DJ gigs with vocal performances already lead him to Japan (Wire Festival, Luners Club), as well as to various european festivals (e.g. MAYDAY, Loveparade, Zurich Streetparade, Vienna Love Parade, Elektrik Kingdom, Viva Clubrotation Poland). They are, by any means, an experience. You have been marked on my profile map! Click to zoom-in.make your own map at: www.modmyprofile.com
