Ms Pink started mixing in Summer 2000 and got her first set of decks shortly after. Initially starting on vinyl she now combines the CDJ's with her beloved records and serato scratch live. Musically you can expect a bouncy concoction of dirty, chunky electro house, mashed and scratched up with big anthem vocals and filthy bassline's, bringing an electrifying bubbling atmosphere to any dance floor.
Her performances are all about entertainment and excitement and her enthusiasm on the decks is like no other. Her unpredictable mixing keeps her sets creative and lively, working the crowd into a frenzy. Her mixing has even been described as "making magic on the decks!"
Ms Pink is based in Brighton and she stared her DJ career playing in various pubs and clubs across the south coast. Initial residencies included urban night 'Switch' at the Ocean Rooms in Brighton, Empire (now Mud Club) in Bognor Regis, Obsession at the Beach Club and Funkylicious at the Zap Club (now Digital). She then moved onto the radio waves with a prime time slot on Brighton's only pirate radio station, Future FM. In summer 2006 Pink came 1st in the Brighton heat of the Movida Corona World DJ competition and went on to represent Brighton at the Opera House in Bournemouth in September of that year. Shortly after being signed to Pure DJs agency at the end of 2006, Pink got the opportunity to DJ in Shanghai, since then she has travelled all over the world including 2 mini tour's of China, re-booking's in India, Finland, Germany, Macedonia, Jersey, France, Belgium and Spain and is now a regular over in Asia, going down a storm with her energetic dj sets and her girlie, yet tough and respected DJ image!
In 2007 she started a regular guest DJ appearance at up and coming Brighton based breaks night Beat Circus, playing out to a capacity crowd, demonstrating her flexibility DJing alongside freestyling musicians and giving this fresh new night one of the most energetic sets yet! 2007 was an exciting year for Pink, with her securing a residency supporting the Fuel Girls in association with Hot Import Nights, accompanying them on their European tour, playing to huge festival crowds and being selector for their world renowned booty shaking competition's!
After another amazing year in 2009 playing out to wild crowds in Madrid, Perpignan and the Ultimate Street Car Festival at Santa Pod, 2010 saw Ms Pink join top UK Management / Agency Vital Music's roster, as well as their female DJ brand "Headphone's and Heels". Working alongside established DJ's such as Lisa Unique and Lauren Pope, Ms Pink has stamped her passport a fair few more times, with several trips to India and Macedonia as well as various UK gigs, including a residency on Ministry of Sound's UK tour from September to December 2010. 2011 has also been a great year so far for Ms Pink kicking off with sell out gig in Mumbai new years eve where she featured as the Headline act to over 2000 people, playing in the new year at one of her best gigs to date! She has since moved up to headline dj with Ministry of sound and is continuing to play for the Clubbers guide tour in and around the UK.
Her passion for music, good looks and outstanding stage presence will most certainly lead to many more exciting things to come… You can never have enough Pink!
