Dj Lady Kate is the stage name for Kate Galbraith, a professional DJ, Turntablist, and On-air Radio mixer from the United States born on Friday, February 13th, 1987. She is of Scottish and Choctaw Indian decent. She built her own record collection and started as an open format DJ, blending classic and current Hip-Hop, Reggae/Dancehall, 80's, Rock, Drum & Bass, and House.
Lady Kate began playing in all-age clubs and festivals around Los Angeles in the year 2000 at the young age of 13. She has worked as a dj around the world, and mixes for 3 rhythmic radio stations in California every Monday-Saturday, with a combined listening audience of over 2.5 million weekly listeners.
DJ LADY KATE ON NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO-
Lady Kate is the first female DJ to have the #1 rated mix show for the top rated English-speaking radio station in the Coachella valley 92.7 KKUU-FM. She has worked in national public radio since 2006, and has mixed live on 4 major market radio stations in California, the same year she received national recognition from AllAccess.com.
Since April of 2011, Lady Kate mixes for a weekly house music mix show on 97.1 KSEQ-FM.
The show is called "The Club House, and is broadcasted on Saturday Mornings 12am -2am PST.
Lady Kate plays a mix of House music and Drum and Bass during this mix show.
In 2011, Lady Kate was interviewed on The Playboy Morning Show, a Playboy TV reality series that follows the antics of the various shows on SIRIUS Satellite Radio's Playboy Radio Channel. Andrea Lowell and Kevin Klein interviewed Lady Kate live at the Playboy Mansion before her DJ performance in April of 2011.

As a club DJ, Lady Kate has headlined at some of the world's most renowned nightclubs including Harrah's Pool After Dark in Atlantic City, Los Angeles's famed Playboy Mansion, The Belasco Theater, and San Jose's newest nightclub Myth Lounge. She has also performed at X-Fest (edm), Lucky Fest (edm), Wet Electric Festival (edm), Electric Fairy Tale Festival (edm), Puerto Vallarta's Papa's and Beer, Hardrock Casino Las Vegas, Austin's Malia Nightclub, and Dallas's largest nightclub Plush.
In 2008, Lady Kate toured Mexico, visiting Puerto Vallarta, Ensenada, Cancun, and Rosarito for the Beauty + Wax DJ Series.
In 2012 Lady Kate had the most listened to mix show on 92.7 KKUU.
In 2012, Playboy Golf voted Lady Kate favorite Playboy Mansion DJ.
She is the youngest female DJ to headline the playboy Mansion in 2011 and 2012.

Lady Kate launched her own company in 2010, and has promoted many of her own events with International Artists and DJ's. Her talent's have earned her a place in the Hollywood nightlife scene and has performed for top athletes and some of Hollywood's best.

Lady Kate donated her Dj services and helped raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project, The boys and Girls club of America, and Susan G Komen for the Cure foundations in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
