DJ KWIK

Dj Kwik born and raised in Chicago IL he began his career at the age 13 where he began to experiment with the sound of house music. Dropping his first mix tape at the age of 15 and he then started to catch the ears of promoters and party goers. Landing his first club appearance at the age of 16 DJ Kwik started rocking the clubs throughout Chicago. With his unique style and quick blends he became one of the hottest club DJ’s in Chicago.



Growing up and listening to his parent’s Latin music, he then put his experience of mixing and dropped the hottest Latin mix tape to hit the streets “Sabrosura”which featured a variety of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata. Creating a new and innovated style, which led him to many guest appearances on La X Tropical, Chicago’s only Latin radio station at the time. Catching the ear of the Latino community in Chicago, he quickly became a role model to the youth. DJ Kwik continued to rock the clubs and promoting himself as one of the best. In the mid 90’s he started to give the crowd a new sound in which most of them never heard before “Spanish Reggae” currently known as “Reggaeton”. As being one of the pioneers in Chicago to mix reggaeton, the people has given him a name to separate himself away from others as “The King of Reggaeton of Chicago”. DJ Kwik has been helping the Reggaeton movement in Chicago in many ways possible introducing them new music and new artists all the time, something that they don’t normally get to hear listening to the radio station. DJ Kwik is being recognized as one of the finest club and mix tape DJ’s from Chicago. Dropping already over 500 mix tapes throughout his career dj kwik is currently found mixing at different clubs throughout the country. DJ Kwik was nominated and won “Best Midwest DJ Award” at the 2007 Latin Urban Mixx Awards in Miami Fl.



DJ Kwik took the year of 2008 to tour around the U.S. to expand his knowledge and take his skills to a different level. From Orlando, Alaska, Washington D.C., Miami, New York just to name a few, he has left a remarkable buzz in every venue he has mixed in. He has currently moved on to a different enviroment and left Chicago to pursue his dreams and is now living in Orlando Florida. You can catch him mix live every weekend with Allproparties.com events and at venues such as Roxy's, Firestone, Club Coco's, Destiny nite club and occasional guest spots at Universal studio's "latin Quarters".
