After hosting and spinning at some of Atlanta’s biggest events for the likes of Def Jam, Corparate Thugz Ent., Grand Hustle Ent., Big Oomp Ent., BHI and So So Def, and many more. Kutt Throat became known amongst industry tastemakers as one who’s lively, soulful style and ear for new talent could provide entertainment outside of the mainstream. The reputation he gained from his accomplishments in the Atlanta markets is leading him to a national and international fan base, which allows him to travel and perform at venues, events and universities across the globe. But Kutt Throat may be best known for his "Gutta Radio" mixtape series. His series has become a coveted promotional opportunity for any artist seeking to strengthen their fan base in the streets and is recognized by the entertainment industry as one of the premier sources for the South’s best new talent. But the series has also been co-signed by some of the biggest names in the game. Kutt Throat has collaborated with such established figures as Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, 8Ball, Juvenile, and host of other well known artist . Kutt Throats’ other mixtape series, "Gutta Love", known for its creative blend of Neo-Soul and smooth Hip-Hop, has also been heralded by fans and critics alike.
The success of his mixtape series kicked DJ Kutt Throats entrepreneurial spirit into overdrive. In addition to being distributed in markets internationally, Hustle Man has now become an Entertainment company. Hustle Man Enterprises specializes in: artist management, booking, consulting, casting, marketing and promotions. DJ Kutt Throat takes over the internet airways frequently on Legion Of Doom’s internet radio station (HYPERLINK "http://www.lodradio.com" www.lodradio.com). Most recently DJ Kutt Throat has teamed up with Hit Breakaz, a newly formed organization based out of Atlanta, GA, to began providing both independent and signed artist the opportunity to receive more exposure. The Legion of Doom is a union of professional record breakers throughout the nation. Headquartered in Atlanta, L.O.D. has been an effective tool for corporate, major and independent companies to funnel their music to the streets. Founded in 2007 this marketing savvy unit has rapidly become an alliance by which all similar associations should be measured.
DJ Kutt Throat’s many accomplishments have led to a multitude of media and industry accolades. DJ Kutt Throat was named “Top 100 DJ’s to service music to in Atlanta” by Hot Block Magazine in 2006; nominated for Legion Of Dooms “Best New DJ”; and 2005’s “Best Underground Mix Tape DJ” at the Underground Music Summit. In addition he has been featured on ATL Get Crunk, and People’s TV artist showcase. He has also graced the pages of Hot Block, Street Talk, Ozone, BREAK, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, to name a few.
