DJ K-Swift also known as "Mr. Tear It Down" resides in Bridgeport, CT and is known through out the state as one of the hottest mixtape and club, hiphop DJs. Hes not just a DJ, hes an entertainer. Specializing in Hiphop, Reggae, Reggaeton, Dirty South, and R&B enables him to rock all types of events and/or clubs. With his versatile skills he is a well sought after DJK-Swift has been in the club scene since 1997 and is currently the resident DJ at Club Sixx in Bridgeport, CT and Vandome Night Club in New Haven, CT. Hes also rocked at The Roxy in Norwalk CT, The Globe in Norwalk CT, Renaissance Night Club in Stamford CT, East Coast Caf in Newburn NC, The Ritz in Bridgeport CT, The Grand Escape in Newburn NC, Playas Club in Plymoth NC, Planet Rock in Jacksonville NC, Coconuts Night Club in Jacksonville NC, Fusion in Stamford CT, Club Image in New Haven CT, Synergy in Stamford CT, Club Dynasty in Greenville NC, Kangaroos Nite Club in Milford CT, Vodoo Lounge in Norwalk CT, The Terrace Club in Stamford, Club Chasers in Greenville NC, as well as a set at the 2004 & 2005 Orange Fest in Orlando FL with artists N.O.R.E, Nina Sky, Pitbull, Tony Touch, Daddy Yankee, T.O.K., and Cuban Link given by Power 95.3. Swift will also be spinning in Houston TX (venue t.b.a.) for the 2006 NBA All-Star weekend.
K-Swift has a long list of night clubs where he has DJd, as well as, clubs with performances by artists such as, Bobby Valentino, Shells, Tony Yayo, Jordan Knight, Tosha Makia, Mobb Deep, Fat Joe, Big Pun, Mr Cheeks, Lil Mo, Fabolous, Foxy Brown, Beenie Siegel, Freeway, Trina, Sacario, 112, Lil Kim, Hoopz from The Flavor of Love show, and Chopper from Da Band. He has also opened up for DJs Funk Master Flex, Mister Cee, Duwop, Jazzy Joyce, Biz Markie, DJ Scribble, and Coco Chanelle. Swift has a reputation for destroying the club when he is on the tables, which has enabled him to gain large following. In May of 2004 Club 11 in Danbury CT threw a party for the release of K-Swifts mixtape CD Its Not A Game Vol. 1, which drew a large number people to the club that night. This alone shows an example of the type of following he has gained. Swift has gone on to release a few more mixtapes, as well as, It's Not A Game Vol. 2 and his current mixtape Swift City Vol 1, 2, and 3, The Bangerz Vol 1, and his first of many Reggaeton mixtape.
