DJ Kidd

With wide acceptance in the hip-hop community as well as mainstream and rock genres, DJ Kidd has set himself apart as a force within the music industry, consulting for artists and record labels as well as coaching the next generation of DJs and programmers.
Kidd knew his life would be in music from a young age. He began working as a DJ before graduating high school in the suburbs of Atlanta and was fully entrenched in the burgeoning Buckhead Nightlife scene by the time the Olympics arrived in 1996. Relationships forged during that period sent him overseas spinning progressive house sets under the assumed name of DJ Christophe’ and in his spare time picking up gigs playing hip-hop in smaller venues.
Upon returning to Atlanta he quickly jumped back into the normal rotation for the city’s biggest venues carefully choosing gigs for optimal exposure. Several years later his ability to adapt to changing tastes in music and his ability to mix hip-hop and pop music with mainstream dance tracks led him to be hand picked as the sole mixer for rhythmic radio station WBTS 95-5 The Beat for where he spent eight years playing shows as many as 6 days a week.
Quickly forging relationships with the artists and record labels he found himself on stage backing legends like Lil Jon, Jermine Dupri, The Ying Yang Twins, and many many more. He has held his own alongside Jam Master Jay, DJ Red Alert and Dj Scribble and is currently The official tour DJ For Bubba Sparxxx (Miss New Booty) and Edubb (Whooty).
