Since the young age of 14 Joseph F has been involved in the music industry. This Santa Ana native got his start working in record stores, promoting events and Djing as a hobby. "I really wanted to be a radio personality, so I practiced it at home with a turntable, 8-track recorder and radio." Joseph spent his summer paychecks traveling around town purchasing handfuls of records to feed his passion for music. He began to diversify his style by spinning Old School, Hip Hop and House music. Shortly after the word spread about this budding talent, popular night clubs requested him. It was no time before Joseph F found himself spinning alongside the likes of DJ Enrie and DJ Juanito at the old venue Pepper's in Industry. Joseph's recognition expanded allowing him to add more night clubs around Orange County and Los Angeles to his resume. At this time, DJ Juanito and Tony B! offered a helping hand in Joseph's career by introducing him to The Vibe 96.7 and The Powertools Mixshow on Power106. "I started getting into the rave culture -- I learned how to do lighting and soundsystems for major rave venues around the nearby counties." Joseph F moved to San Antonio, Texas and continued to study music and dj. With the immense sense of community the Los Angeles area had among the nightlife, Joseph began to notice a void. It wasnt long before he returned back to California. After the relocation Joseph F decided to reorganize his position in the industry. He began to acquire tracks from artists and other producers and put them on record. Worldwide Records was established and his dream thrives on. The company has grown to be a respected label and continues to make positive strides in creative music. "It has taken en enormous amount of time. But it has been worth the wait." Joseph attributes his dedication and patience for the success he has experienced thus far. He offers the following words of advice for those aspiring to be musically inclined: "Dont give up and never let them see you sweat. And remember to have fun in whatever you chose to do.
