Rhode Island native, Dj Head Honcho has a flawless track record of accomplishments that speak for his solid dedication as a Dj. From his many mix tapes, to his on-line radio show (on AOL Radio Mix tape channel), and his constant night club appearances, Honcho continues to show his fans the hard work & dedication it takes to be a skilled Dj.
The foundation of his skills comes from his lifelong passion for music. “I know and love all kinds of music, and I love to make people spazz out on the dance floor” says Honcho. “I’m not like any other playlist top 40 Dj. I play everything and can adapt well to any crowd.” This is why he has been asked to spin at clubs all over the country. His ability to adapt and not only play what’s trendy, but actually create the trends, set him apart as a Dj. Honcho has appeared on the MTV series MADE, Djing for Christopher (from Geek to Chic) for his chic reveal. However, Honcho is probably best known for his mix tape series “Kings Of The Club” which feature himself along side some of the biggest Dj’s in the country. Honcho has also opened up for such artists as Dashboard Confessional, Young Joc, Gangstarr & more. And has received recognition from many industry personalities, one being recording artist MIMS, who he’s produced tracks for, calling Honcho his “favorite club Dj,” & Kanye West who calls Honcho “Rhode Island’s best Dj.”
