DJ Gumja aka Domen Petaros was born in 1982 and he always been conected with the music. He started his career in 1999, at the beginning he played dance, two years later he switched on techno. His style is funky, tribal, driving techno filled with energy. He performed his sets all around Slovenia and also in countries like: Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
He played with names like: Adam Beyer, Luke Slater, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Mauro Picotto, Gaetano Parisio, Deetron, Claude Young, Joey Beltram, Cristian Varela, Roberto Q. Ingram, Marco Bailey, Misa Salacova, Preach, Ignition Technican, La Di Da, Tom Hades, Misjah, Technasia, Pedro Delgardo, Space DJ's, Ade Fenton, The Advent vs Industrialyzer, Boriqua Tribez, Valentino Kanzyani, Oxia, Marko Nastic, Leandro Gamez, Markantonio, Rino Cerrone, Bass Mooy, Cave, Eric Sneo, Ortin Cam, Billy Nasty, W.J. Henze, Dave The Drummer, Elton D, Axel Karakasis, Bryan Cox, Christian Fischer, DJ Murphy, Wehbba, Robert Natus etc.
In his sets he always wants to give maximum, so you can expect a nasty funky techno trip!
He loves producers such as Reaky, Goncalo M, Aka Carl, Omega Drive, Odessa Soundfreaks, Peppelino etc.
With his friend Egidij Rodica, he founded an unprofitable organization called SOUND OF NEW MILLENIUM that promotes electro culture and »stimulates« newcomer DJs. Besides playing on parties DJ Gumja also loves producing his own music. You can find some releases on labels like Vezotonik, Sound Evoulution, Subcult.
