Born in Barcelona, Franco Munoz began his DJ career at the age of fifteen, playing in local bars and nightclubs.
His first residency was at Bali Bar in Barcelona, where he was encouraged to play with freedom and come into his own style. It didnt take long for his love of house music and passion for the decks to earn him spots in some of the most respected clubs in Spain, including, but not limited to, the original Pacha, Amnesia, Republica, Bora Bora, Club Up 6 , Otto Zutz, Maitinee and club b-Free.
By 1997, a big boom of garage music had developed in the UK and Franco jumped in. While in England he was fortunate to share his sets with garage stars such as ARTFUL DODGER, DJ SPOONY, and MJ COLE. With his addiction to Missmoneypennys, Fuel @ Bonds and later a residency in Trade @ Turnmills, his Spanish style was complimentarily mixed with the influences of English funky house.
His joyful, energetic Iberican style would later result in invitations to feature at Godskitchen, Ministry of Sound and Afterhour Power in L.A and Ibiza.
In 2001, Franco was invited to return to the US and play at AFTERHOUR POWER @ The Palace in Hollywood California. Clubbers loved his Iberican style and he was invited once again to be a resident at Afterhour Power, Ritual and Trade L.A In the U.S. Franco has also played numerous venues in Vegas including, Babys @ The Hard Rock, Club Utopia, ICE, Tabu and House of Blues. In San Diego at Club Montage and he has featured in Miami: at venues such as Lime Bar and Nikki beach. His Los Angeles appearances include Club Crasher, House of Blues, Garden of Eden, Key Club, Naked @ The Grand, Level 3, The Highlands and a VIP exclusive event party for the cast and crew of the NBC Emmy winning series Friends.
His love for House Music and fueling the emotions of his fans has grown even stronger with the releases of his records I Like You on House Works records and tracks on the current release Holy Smoke.
Franco has been fortunate to play alongside such artists as Tall Paul, Paul Oakenfold, Mauro Picotto, Sharp Boys, Wally Lopez , Pedro Del Moral, Sandra Collins, D-Fuse, Berhouz, Zagros, Gee Moore, Robbie Rivera, The Crystal Method, and Donald Glaude just to name a few.
He hopes that he can continue to keep people dancing, feeling and sharing his music for many years to come.>
