DJ DYNOMYTE

Growing up with a father such as Joey V a pioneer DJ who was well respected in the south Boston/Providence area. Music just became a way of life with him playing records throughout the house like Pet shop boys, Bananarama, Depeche Mode, and Duran Duran. My album collection started out with artists such as Kool Moe Dee, Run Dmc, The fat boys, and Dana Dane. I then started making mix tapes at the age of 8 for myself, friends, and family. Then began the process that was evolved into the obsession of mixing music live in front of a crowd. At a record store in 1996 was when I met DJ Simon Sayz, from then on we took New England by storm performing together in clubs such as the Strand, Lupo's, Pulse, Hell, Sanctuary, and various raves throughout the area. We were well known for our original style, and sound. Winter of 2002 was when I moved to california for recording school, the Los Angeles recording workshop located in North Hollywood where I met Musashi. I am currently producing original tracks along with different remixes for various artists which I will be rotating throughout the month! As far as the crank call bits go, I think my actions are childish, petty, insane, perverted, and uncalled for. It's all sorts of assorted scalawag behavior. But it's all so damn fun! Now go SHAVE something!!! Anything at all, let's get real creative on this one people. A couple of things about myself, I like long walks on the beach (naked), listening to good music (naked), and getting naked (butt naked). Oh yeah I was either a pirate or an old timey sailor in my previous life.
