As a founding director of vintage vinyl archeology team "Finders Keepers" and cross-continental club night B-Music, Dom Thomas has travelled the world twice over supplying Psych-starved mods, b-boys and misfits throughout the world with his unique brand of unidentifiable cosmic slop. An ardent, assiduous B-Music crusader - whose love of obscure, obsolete, deleted and delectable experimental vintage Pop music and graphic design has sparked a vibrant record-stall, dancefloor and sub-cultural uprising, this Manchester beat-freak spearheads an infectious, impetuous campaign that champions long-forgotten way-out sounds._____________________________OUT NOW>>>THE EXPLODING DISCO INEVITABLENew Mix and vinyl on BRUTAL MUSIC. An explosive mix of Denizen Funk, Psyche Rock and Proto House, effortlesly crossing boundaries and uncharted sonic sound-scapes, defying genre classification.

"Dom Thomas' Exploding Disco Inevitable (on the Brutal Music subsidiary), is the follow-up to his previous B-Music mix Miscellaneous Mutant Mishaps. Where that record focused on the wild and wooly world of psych rock and international funk grooves that the label specializes in, Exploding takes that aesthetic and wraps it up in dancefloor glitter and mirror ball shine, accentuating tracks and grooves that fall under a more direct 4/4 house/disco/funk throb. All of the usual ingredients are here, though, so fear not -- Thomas mixes up Bollywood disco bangers with Eastern surf jams, Krautrock beat science, and a bit of psychedelic fizz on the top, never letting anything stick around for too long, but letting everything last long enough to have an impact. He's taking multiple pieces of music and chopping, blending, and stitching them together like an international disco Frankenstein. His aesthetic fits in nicely with similar mixes by the Gaslamp Killer, Purple Brain, Paul White, and even Madlib; these guys all take their source material and make it their own -- the true mark of any talented tastemaker, DJ, and composer. It's doubtful you're going to hear a mix that's as simultaneously brain-melting and butt-shaking as this one. Tune in, drop out, and get down!"OTHER MUSIC, NEW YORK.

_____________________________Brutal Music presents 'Miscellaneous Mutant Mishaps'53 minutes of alienated, global sound oddities. Mutilated, toxicated and reconstituted by Dom Thomas."Miscellaneous Mutant Mishaps is "53 minutes of alienated global sound oddities mutilated, toxicated and reconstituted" by Dom Thomas of B-Music. If you've bought anything from the Finders Keepers family of labels, which B-music is a part of, you'll know to expect the unexpected, the unseen and the unheard from their discs and this is among their furthest out trips that we've experienced. While their mixes and comps usually come with some kind of sublabel or generic indicator, this one is left as open as possible, meaning you're in the hands of Dom Thomas for a mental mooch to anywhere he fancies, feverishly navigating through fuzz toned psyche rock, alien FM signals, tropical pop and an assortment of voodoo electronics like a vintage radio infected with malaria and eternally locked into a pre digital era. Don't ask us to name any of the tracks here, partly because that would diminish the magic, but mostly because we don't have chuffing clue. This is an exceptional selection that unravels like an antique Persian carpet to reveal an intensely well crafted process behind a fractally trippy masterpiece that certainly warrants much closer inspection. Dip in, and get sucked under. TIP!!! " BOOMKAT - RECOMMENDED RELEASE

"It’s no accident that Mutant is in the title here, as this mix CD plays like something of an Os Mutantes ideas sounding-board – if Brazil’s finest were to incorporate more eastern influences in their fit-to-burst bag of tricks. Surpassing even Gaslamp Killer’s All Killer mix of Finders Keepers’ first 20 releases, this mash-up doesn’t restrict itself to cuts already released on its sister label (though there is crossover), and is a smoother, truer to the spirit ride, presumably because we’re in the hands of FK co-founder Dom Thomas.

Jazz bedding behind fuzz guitar; martial drumming propelling a Krautrock groove; Doorsy organ creeping up on Lollywood bounce – MMM is one of the more laidback, deftlymixed rides the B-Music craftsman has put his hands to, and it flows like a dream river. Think, at times, Besame Mucho cosying up to Martin Denny while watching Casino Royale, and you’ll have something of the right idea." RECORD COLLECTOR 4/5
