DjD Dre Robinson. Esoteric. Akrobatik. Just a few names synonymous with the Hip Hop Underground that runs the city of Boston, Massachusetts. Maybe not the most well known names in the entire game, but for a common purpose, Beantown Hip Hop music is a force to be reckoned with. If only 21 year old Joshua DeCarlo (DjD) could be a part of this movement. See, as these legends were laying there name in hip hop lore across the commonwealth, Young DjD was growing up from Poverty to Middle Class. After the death of his father at a young age, D and his mother struggled to make ends meat, deep in the heart of Kingston, New Hampshire, but with every battle comes triumph, and after a well deserved move to nearby Danville, Josh would find everything he needed in this world. Somewhere between the process of trying to fit in at schools filled with One Dimensional beliefs, and being that new kid everyone gawks at, D found solitude in Hip Hop music. In his eyes, the lives of artists like Notorious BIG, and Nas were examples of triumph, and escalating your feelings thru struggle via lyrics. So D began working on his own life story, thru rhyme. A local favorite through high school, D found his match on Two albums featuring himself with "Verbal Assault" and "Northern Sound" but these works of art were not the art he imagined his music becoming. Now, with the Release of "Year Zero", the kid who got picked class, and hasseled his whole life gets to share his ideas on life, love, and the pursuit of a dream. "Danvilles Josh DeCarlo" may come from a small middle class town, rich in religion, thru Chenile factories and Farmland, DjD looks to show the world that everyone has there own path in life, and no one mans path is the same, but can share common characteristics.
