Crocy's musical life goes back to 1992, when he was attending musical school in his hometown. He played the accordion for seven years and travelled through different genres of music, until he borrowed his first techno-styled CD from a friend. This is where his journey into electronic beats started. After a couple of nights out clubbing, he wanted to be a Dee Jay. He bought his first set of turntables in the end of year 2000 and started to play house music. His first performance was on his friend s birthday party, where he proved that he was born for this job. A Few months passed and he got invited to spin at a pool party organised by the students organisation in his hometown in the summer of 2001. The crowd loved him so more gigs followed immediately. He became the resident of a small club called As, where his fan club started to grow. Crocy soon started to appear as a weekly guest at Club Casablanca alongside their residents and famous European DJs on its bigger venues. He has been a guest in a number of clubs all over Slovenia.
Years 2002 & 2003 were very successful for him. In year 2002 he became the youngest member of E-Modulation Records and also got residency on their influential events called HOMEBASE at Club Casablanca Celje. In year 2003 he took part in two well attended DJ contests. On the tournament for The THE BEST NEWCOMER DJ 2003, organised by Psilon-Empire & Final Flash Association he got into the finals. A Few month passed and he applied for the contest for THE BEST DJ OF THE SUMMER 2003, organised by BeBe Agency and he won! He impressed the headmawww.psilon.orgster of Psilon-Empire Party Organisation and booking agency, so he got an offer to be a Psilon-Empire DJ, and he accepted it. More gigs followed. He got invitations for playing from lots of party organisations all over Slovenia like Space Group, Explicit Musick, Starlight, Analogica, Party Sounds, Exforium Group.
Crocy soon started getting media support so he gave a few interviews to a few newspapers and magazines. He also gave an interview for a number of radio stations and some television stations, where his music was the background for whole show called PoP Corn, the guest of which was at that occasion the most popular Slovenian rock group Siddharta. He is into vocal and funky House but lately more into progressive sounds, often throwing some older hit records in his sets just to put the crowd on their feet.
In 2004 Crocy discovered his production side and paying more attention on that than playing out in clubs. Being in studio and developing his own sound was just more important for him. But that doesn't mean that Crocy didn't play at all. People had privillage to hear him only at special and chosen venues aswell as in year 2005 which was more like a school year for him.
Trough his production music years he started some collabs with his friend producers too. To mention, one is project called Dual Crime with Defodelic who released on EDM Digital. Their first track is called Shouldaya and is currently waiting to get signed.
2006 was a year for Crocy's first release. Remix for track titeled Sunday by Federico Epis feat. Helen K was released on Dubcoast Records based in San Francisto, USA. Release was supported by names like Anthony Pappa, Hernan Cattaneo, Martin Garcia, G-Pal, Christian Cambas, Guillaume Nyckess, Jason Jollins, DJ Joop etc. In collaboration with Iggy Costo, Crocy remixed more than a 300 years old folk song 'Il je vedro' by Kissik, soon to be released. The same summer Crocy remixed the official anthem of one of the biggest electronic music festival in Europe, Street Parade (Zürich). Remix was released in early 2007 on Offshore Records, Switzerlands Leading Dance Label. Besides all the production Crocy also has monthly radio show Divine Avenue on Sense Generate Radio based in Usa.
Some Crocy's tracks and remixes are waiting to get signed and released. Just to mention progressive rework of hard dance producer Mic-E's track Hum4n0id. Listen to Crocy's tracks and remixes in player here at Crocy's myspace or here on his site in Music section.
