DJ Creestal

CREESTAL , DJ and producer started to express his creative side with graphic art, and then pursued art studies in the middle of the 90's

One day it took a sampling course with Imhotep (IAM French rap band) and that’s when creestal realised as a DJ that there were many ways to explore this domain, then Karkan was born (2 mc and 1 DJ producer).

His attachment to graphic arts give his music colours, inspiration, the choice of his album title “beat them up” referred to video games. For Creestal a sound is an image, a colour, a visual.

His kind of music is the one who brings a warm colour such as soul music, jazz, blues, because these are charged with emotions that he can pass on to his music. In his album solo, Beat’em all, Creestal included lots of voices in the melodies to humanise the sound.

When he’s working for his MC’s, he gets busy with a pad and a pen then all tracks are unique and his lyrics brings musical diversity.



As well for Karkan "360 optik" , “Beat’em all” or “expression ?crite”, Creestal writes in a unique way for each of them and brings Rap music a pinch of originality, his personal touch.

Creestal’s not only mix music, he’s try to developing his own hip hop and offering an aesthetic and pictorial dimension.
