'93-'97

7th and 8th grade i bought my 1st pair of technics 1200s and radioshack atus mixer by saving my lunch money. i was a real chubby kid and when i was done w/ 8th grade, i lost so much weight that my teachers thought i was on crack. my 1st records were house actually. The Bomb by Kenny Dope and some undergorund chicago shit (i still have them to this day. divas to tha dance floor and whats happenin bitch!) Being that im filipino and grew up in the bay area, i naturally looked up to qbert, mix master mike, and appolo (rock steady djs later to be the invisibl skratch piklz). when i was 14, i met this guy named pete suguitan from ladda sounds (now club5) i joined ladda sounds as it was one of the top mobile crews in the bustling cali mobile scene. those crews include sbc, spintronix, rythm in motion, etc. that is how the bay area opened up to me, djing mostly at school dances, weddings, corporate events and 3 style attractions parties. new york djs had their block parties, we had our mobile crews!!!! thats history right there!!!

'98-'00 Platinum Entertainment: at San Jose State Univ., i met Alex Retodo (myspace: alexthegreat). with a bunch of people telling us of our striking similarities, i started my 1st residency at the tender age of 17. at this time, club platinum at city nights was the biggest weekly in the filipino asian scene. that is when i 1st started skratching and juggling to hard house and NRG which caught the attention of other djs and promoters.

'99-'02 Trance & Jungle Factory: thanx to Thomas Trouble and dj denise (dj d) who let me teach them how to skratch in exchange to play at their raves. my 1st rave was actually Episode on sep 9, 1999 at the famous bay area warehouse 2nd and jackson in oakland (alex retodo actually met his gf there!!). after 2000, my unique style of hardhouse/funkyhouse mixed w/ turntablism started to catch on. many people claim that they were the 1st to incorporate the 2 contrasting styles.YOU ALL KNOW WHO U ARE!!!!! & YOU ALL KNOW U SAW ME DO IT 1ST @ PLATINUM!!!! YOU KNOW IT BECAUSE I BOOKED U AT PLATINUM AND SAW ME. BITERS!!!!!! during this chapter in my life, i played at clubs in LA like Grand Ave, Mayan. I even got flown out to play in places like Toronto and Manila!!! I played for such promoters at parties and venues like: Tickle, Man in the Moon, Home Base, 2nd & Jackson, Cosmic Beats, HAPPY HUGGY!!!! 550 barneveld, sound factory, kelly's mission rock, 1015, maritime hall, limelight, hotel ibiza, whisper.man i cant even remember!!!

'01-'03 Expression Center for New Media: thanx to my parents' support, they sent me to go to school to be a recording engineer. after being exposed to an eclectic mix of music, my taste evolved into deep house. the music that makes san francisco's heart beat. the music that brings the sexy people out!!!! when i graduated in '03, i was looking for a studio to intern at. at the same time, i saw my friend Japee making tons of $$ doing mortgages. i actually had an internship at Moulton Studio's lined up w/ ben long doing marketing. my purpose for that was to slip a demo of my original tracks to anyone who was there like miguel migs, mark farina, or jay j. isnt that what kaskade did? I actually had a short residency at Whisper and even played at SF famous Remedy. opening for people like gene farris and david harness. anyway, the same day i got that internship, i got a call to go into an interview at my 1st mortgage company. and well.murder she wrote now i own my own real estate and mortgage firm. i also own properties in San Jose and Las VegasVIVA!!!! now, just for fun, i want to start spinning again. because i miss being able to rock a crowd and control thousands of people. watching the energy go thru the crowd like a wave. people stomping on the ground at tha same time and cheering me on while i skratch!!!! i just miss it!!!!
