DJ Black Jesus born January 25, 1986 which currently makes him 23 years of age has been in the mixtape game ever since February 2005 when he dropped his first instrumental mixtape naming the series ''Ain't Doin' Dis Shit Fa' Nothin'' and creating his own style and technique. The reason for naming his instrumental series what he did had something to do with him thinking about when people make music whether it be doing an actual track with an original beat or doing a freestyle on an industry beat they have a purpose trying to get their music out and get heard. Whether it being making a mixtape and pressing it up for them sale it just around the hood to make money they have a purpose. In so many words they ''Ain't Doin' Dis Shit Fa' Nothin.''

There is also another instrumental series DJ Black Jesus started called ''Instrumental InVasion'' consisting of a collection of instrumentals from one artist or one producer calling it an ''Instrumental InVasion'' invading everything that artist or producer has touched. The first release of the series came in April 2005 featuring The Alchemist being the first volume and after that came the likes of Just Blaze, The Diplomats [Session One], Kanye West, Jay Z, The Diplomats [Session Two], Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, The Neptunes, G-Unit, Lil' Jon, The Notorious B.I.G., and where he left off after 12 solid volumes was The Diplomats Edition [Session Three].

After releasing all of these instrumental mixtapes it was October 2006 when DJ Black Jesus felt it was time to put together an actual mixtape calling it ''Tha Buzz In Ya Ear'' letting the name speak for itself. DJ Black Jesus felt he built a buzz for himself and he would soon find himself to be right.

After releasing 44 mixtapes as a ''new dj'' in 2007 DJ Black Jesus was given the opportunity to also turn to radio and be featured on 2 stations bringing in the 2008 New Year one being 97.9FM The Wiiz in Augusta, GA and the other being 88.7FM WXDU DUKE University Radio based in Durham, NC. The mixtapes continued to drop totaling up to 22 so far recorded June 16, 2008 with more to come before the 2008 year is up. 2 months later DJ Black Jesus created the opportunity for himself to be on Sprint Radio every month. You can tune in @ www.focusonthedj.com and also download the mixes straight to your Sprint/Nextel and US Cellular phone.

April 29, 2008 DJ Black Jesus created his own radio show which is 2HRS long every Tuesday spinning raw and uncut records and is also on djblackjesus.podomatic.com, datpiff.com, wwacn.com, djblackjesus.blogdrive.com, and wyplanet.com/djblackjesus called ''Salute 2 The Streets RADIO!''
