WWW.DJAZUQUITA.COM ----- Dj azuquita is been in the business since he was a youngling. Music is in his blood. He was born in Victoria Chile. Since childhood, he has had a deep love for music. He reminisces about trying to create music by banging on pots and pans. Influence by the radio movement of the late 80s early 90s via his father he acquired a deep interest in the variety of music sounds of South America. He moved to Utah at a young age. He started out by playing at house parties for family and friends. His reputation for his good taste in music caught the attention of local club promoters in the area and the rest is history. He has been playing at many clubs locally and abroad since. His impact has been felt by the number of people that attribute his name to the Latin music market in Utah. Some of his accomplishments are to form and develop some of the upcoming Latin dj in the state while his dj crew was active Mixxmasterz dj Crew. Also being the first Latin dj in Utah to mix, Scratch and loop the sounds of salsa, Hip Hop, Merengue, bachata and many more, fusing the genres by beat matching an art form later on, carried out by every Latin dj in the State. In the past seven years dj azuquita has contribute to the market in Utah by developing a record label (Aplus Rec.) help some of the local upcoming artist in the industry as well as a mix school which its main purpose is to give upcoming djs the opportunity to excel and have a support group in the mixing culture. He Develop several successful nights around the city, Thursdays (Sky Bar), Saturdays (Trolley Square). He also is consider a main source of music consulting to several business in Utah like Univision, Telemundo, BYU, UVSC, SLCC and many more. Its all about the music!
