Who this is - I am not a member of Djali Zwan. I am not Billy Corgan. Zwan, and consequently, Djali Zwan, have broken up. Billy Corgan is playing again with the Smashing Pumpkins. I am a fan who was lucky enough to see one of the Djali Zwan shows in Grand Rapids/Indianapolis in 2003. It was amazing. I am a fan of Spun. I love these songs. They need to be shared.

Who Djali Zwan was -

One of would be many incarnations of the band Zwan, the best known of these (a 1970's arena rock style entity) released the album "Mary Star Of The Sea" on Warner/Reprise. The Djali Zwan was a lot folkier and all the songs were acoustic based. Four Djali Zwan songs were released commercially "Number Of The Beast"(an Iron Maiden cover" and "Freedom Ain't What It Used To Be" appear on the "Honestly" single and "Autumn Leaves" and "Nobody 'cept You" appear on the "Lyric" single. Band memers were Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, Paz Lenchantin, David Pajo and Matt Sweeney, ocassionally the line up also included Ana Lenchantin and Linda Strawberry. The band also contributed the score and several songs to the film "Spun" (no soundtrack was released on Corgans insistance).

Plans for a "Let It Be" style making of the record documentary dvd were scrapped when Zwan imploded.
