Divine Hysteria

Divine Hysteria started off with only Alex and Chaz. They met in high school and began playing music together knowing they both had the flavor of funk music. They began to unravel a playing style of their own. The two knew that they meshed perfectly and decided to start a band. They started with many different singers, they were good, but they didn't fit perfectly, they knew that when they had the perfect singer, They would know! After several drummers and singers, Chaz decided to post an add on craigslist.com to see what kind of responses he would have. It seemed at the time like no one good was going to respond. But just as it seemed hopeless, Chaz received a response from a Brandon Mustardo and they practiced the next day.

What happened that day was unexpected and amazing, they KNEW they had their new singer. Brandon had a friend named Andy Humphrey, He became the bands new drummer. The four mixed well! for about a year the band played together, creating two 4 track demo discs, and playing everywhere in rochester. But just as it comes, it goes too. Andy had to leave for Maryland (his home town) for personal reasons. (The band still keeps close ties with Andy.)

Since then our music has been played on such stations as 94.1 the zone a several times. The band also found a new drummer to fill the tremendous hole that was left in the band. They met a guy named JAE!! jae has played in many bands, such as Hiptoss and a couple primus coverbands. His playing style is very unique and energetic, THE PERFECT FIT TO THE BAND!! He also owns a pizza shop called "Paulies" pizza shop. Since then the band has worked on perfecting their old songs and also making new songs. Keep an eye on the band because new songs are comming!!!
