Disintegration started with Daniel Jimenez. At the time he was working with a band called Malignant, until he decided that he wanted to start a side project. Daniel knew David Zapata, who was a heavily inspired by black and death metal. With two members in the band, all they needed was a bassist and two guitarist.Thats when they found bassist Jaime Greene, who is a thrasher that also likes death metal and agreed to be in the band. Then came in the picture Johnny Ochoa, they all liked his guitar skills so much that they just left it as one guitarist.

So when practice came, they first worked on a few covers such as Slayer's "Necrophiliac" and Sepultura's "Troops of Doom". At the same time, they made their first song called "Disintegration", wich then decided to name the band like that.

Everything worked out so well that in two weeks came birth of new songs, titled "Winds of Napalm", "Necrofuck", "Pestilance", "Fetus Butcherment", and "Molesting the Beheaded". Along with a few covers from Cannibal Corpse's "A Skull Full of Magots" and Deicide's "Dead by Dawn".

On January 27, 2005 came Disintegrations first backyard show.It went very well that made the band want to play more shows and to show the crowed the begining of a death metal band.

When everything was going good, Jaime Green left the band due to some personal problems that he had to face. With a show in schedule, they needed a bassist who can learn most of the songs. Thats when Randall Norona came in. He learned most of the songs and played in the show, it went preaty good. A few days passed and we asked Randall do be our bass player, and he joined.

So all things went better, played a few shows and recorded our first demo. But during the recording days, Randall left the band finishing all his parts as bass. He left because he wasn't comfortable with the band. So we put a hold on the recordings and then looked for a bassist. We asked Jaime if he would come back to the band, but he denied. Then Daniel asked a bass player named Miguel Limon from Davids other band Schizofrenic. He agreed once they jammed out on April 21, 2005.

Once again a complete band, on the second day of jamming out they wrote a new song called "Rotting in Eternity". A few months passed by and everything was going well, with the works of new songs and gigs. Until the band had problems with Daniel, they were planning on leaving him out of the band, for the mean time Disintegration played without Daniel. That way the people could get useto the band as it is, but then Daniel left the band after finding out a show that they played in. So now the band remains a 3 piece and have decided to leave it at that.

April 19, 2008.

Disintegration has once again become a 2 piece leaving the 2 original members Johnny and David. We will not give up our true death metal music, We will rise again some day
