Brothers Danny and David Tuss combine folky Ohio River music with a DIY rock aesthetic as the Umbrella Men. Formed in 2005, the Umbrella Men are self taught multi-instrumentalists who blend elements of plaintive Midwestern folk with gritty guitar riffs and soaring violin hooks.



The duo has most recently contributed their signature sound to the score for the award winning Sundance Channel series of short films ‘Green Porno’ and ‘Seduce Me’ featuring Isabella Rossellini. The Green Porno series has played at the Tribeca, Toronto, and Berlin Film Festivals and has won two Webby Awards.
