Dirty Bones

Im Frühjahr 2006 beschlossen
die aus dem Großraum Bielefeld
stammenden Musiker Gerd
Szuplinski (Drums), Heike Nolden
(Bass) und Ahmet "Aki" Arkin
(Guitar) die Gründung einer
neuen Band. Gerd und "Aki"
kannten sich bereits durch die
Zusammenarbeit bei der Prog
Metal Band MIND MASQUE.
Heike kannte wiederum Gerd
durch die gemeinsame Hardcore
Band NAGASAKI 45. Trotz der recht
unterschiedlichen Musikrichtungen
ihrer früheren Bands,
einigte man sich schnell auf einen
Stil.
Rock 'n' Roll
Etwa zwei Monate nach
Gründung der Band, tauchte
Heike mit der aus Seattle
stammenden Sängerin Om Johari
im Proberaum auf. Schwer beeindruckt
von der stimmgewaltigen Om
stand augenblicklich fest, dass das
Band Line Up nun komplett war.
Wie sich später herausstellte, war
auch Om schon viele Jahre
musikalisch tätig. Bereits im
zarten Kindesalter.
Jahre später tourte sie dann mit ihrer Band
HELLS BELLES durch die USA, Kanada und Japan.
DIRTY BONES war geboren!!!



Dirty Bones was founded at the beginning
of 2006. Drummer Gerd, bassist Heike and guitarist Ahmet ("Aki"), had
already written the music for four songs when the American singer, Om, joined
the line-up in the spring of the same year.
All four musicians are seasoned and have participated in bands that toured internationally
in Europe, USA, Canada and Japan. Bringing together their diverse styles and professional
backgrounds in prog, metal and hard rock this ensemble was able to, in a period
of five months, put together a set of straight forward power rockin' music that
will kick your ass.
Dirty Bones - the new hope for the life of Rock-n-Roll, a "must see"
live band that you will definately hear more of in the near future.
