ABOUT DTR

Artist management and gig promotion is the main thrust of DTR as we enter our third year.

Launched in February 2006 at Exeter Phoenix with a sold-out show, we have already helped a number of bands to record their music professionally and we have kept our favourite bands busy on the gigs front.

We have run a number of sold out shows at Exeter Phoenix, including Skindred three times and are working on the Exeter Respect Festival again in July 2008.



In 2007 DTR concentrated on managing IDIOM and getting them gigs throughout the UK to promote their exciting new recording. IDIOM embarked on their first full European tour in January 2008, supporting USA based From Autumn to Ashes. May saw the launch of their much anticipated new EP and a major Uk tour as support for Skindred.



In 2008 The Sunshine Getaway will also be a major focus of our attention. They embarked on a UK tour with Not Advised in February 2008. With a superb new EP being launched on 4th February. They tour again in the Autumn



We are always looking to add local bands, and any other relevant profiles (i.e. promotional companies, venues, sponsors) to our friends list to generate a cool network amongst south west music lovers. Reciprocal gigs for bands around the UK are also available - you get us a slot in your home town then we will try to get you one in Exeter.



For our launch we produced a 14 track compilation CD of some of the best local Devon bands, called "Making Tracks"

which is still available from our website.



IDIOM's original 5 track demo EP is now all sold and has been deleted
