Dimdj started DJing in early 1992 in his hometown playing small pubs and underground parties, mostly driven by his curiosity for the rave scene. Since 1998 he started producing music with the first release following a year later. With major influences such as Giorgio Moroder, Dead Kennedys, Joy Division, Joey Beltram, AFX, Robert Armani and the whole of Basic Channel scene, Dimdj's music can only be considered is a surprise every time. At the beginning it was early experimental ambient which subsequently led to techno. In 1992 Dimdj hosted a radio show with long time friend and fellow producer DJ Pici and through a successful array of shows lasting up to 6 hours; they managed to get the attention of many promoters and started to play on major clubs and venues in Dim's home town. But Dim has not only played music and produced it, he was also active for quite a few years promoting events with guest DJ's, as well as running his own label, Relax recs.
