diMazza is a Philadephia-based rock 'n roll band, which was officially created in 2005 when its founder Dave Juncos recorded a 3-song EP with Brian McTear at Miner Street Studios, entitled Stargazers Rd EP. In 2006 Juncos reunited with former Stellarscope bandmate, James Snyder

, to form a band that could perform the EP tracks live. Adding another former bandmate, Mike Meyers , on bass.

After forming, diMazza soon began playing shows in and around Philadelphia, establishing

themselves as an original force to be reckoned with. With comparisons to the Verve, Mojave 3, The Cure, Jane's Addiction, diMazza places emphasis on making fresh sounding music, that is new and not simply a throwback to scenes of the past. Since forming, diMazza has been interviewed in Passional Magazine, played on local radio stations, WSTW, WXPN, City Paper's Local Podcast, WPRB, WKDU, and were named Philly Local Pick of the Day by Helen Leight, on WPXN for January 17, 2007. Not bad, considering they've only been together for less than a year.

The Stargazers Rd EP is available for sale via the Merchandise section. Includes the track

"Here's to a New Year," which features the bass playing of Tim Celfo , who also plays with Sharon Little , and Venomous, Hoots and Hellmouth, among others.

diMazza does not mean anything, it just sounds good. It can mean whatever you want it to.
