Born and raised in the city so dope that they had to name it twice, manifests a righteous and self-proclaimed producer named Levelz. Levelz gravitated toward the music scene at the youthful age of ten. Beginning as an innocent appeal to the sounds of Slick Rick, NWA, and RUN DMC coming out of his siblings oversized boom-box, ultimately lead to Levelz’ first love, producing. His talent is truly undeniable; from the transition of the revolutionary break beats to the urbanized sound of eclectic digital soul.

Levelz and his love for music grew stronger when he was in high school. One day his sister brought him to her friend's recording studio in Brooklyn where he found himself in the presence of a well-known producer. He listened to the beats pouring out the speakers while the rhythm of the lights on the equalizer kept on catching his eye. He was mesmerized as one of the producers would knock out a hot beat on the keyboard and then add it on top of what kept on playing over and over. It was that moment that Levelz realized what he was meant to do. From that day forward he was there for every new track, every new beat, and every question he could possibly think of to kick off his new passion.

While attending college at John Jay studying criminology, Levelz purchased his first drum machine which would ultimately end up liberating his mind. He would be sitting in class and catch himself zoning out, contemplating his next beat. He realized that his head was somewhere else, and since then it has been the indispensable and most vital element of his life.

Two years after the curiosity drew him into the music scene Levelz made his first record with a group from Brooklyn distributed through Rawkus Records. Since then Levelz has produced beats for some of music’s heavy hitters, including Jay-Z, Tony Yayo, Olivia, Black Buddafly, Dead Prez, Consequence, Grafh, Keith Murray, Sly Boogy and contributed his creations for MTVs "The Shop".

Levelz’ would never be complete without a couple of tracks in his pocket, an ipod in the back of his jeans, a sick beat unraveling in his head and a yearning for creation in his heart. Today Levelz continues and strives to perfect his great skills and capabilities within the most competitive industry. He proves again and again to be someone who is truly profound. Levelz emerges as a new face of infectious equality with the determination and knowledge of a master.
